The Tales of Beedle the Bard are written by J.K. Rowling and are one of the best collections of short stories I have read that are for children. It is no secret that I am a fan of Harry Potter so my opinion is a tad biased, but this is truly a great way to introduce your child to the magic of Harry Potter without having to crack open one of the 800 or so paged books in the series. Each tale is packed with humor, tragedy, and magical wizardiness! It isn't all just fun and games though, each story teaches an important life lesson that every child should learn. This makes these stories good for all ages, even adults! I highly recommend this book for a night of exciting story time!
