With the theme of February being love, I chose a story that encompasses the entirety of love, flaws and all. Though this story is quite sad,it also shares the feelings of loving someone so much that you would give up your entire self to make that other person happy. The Tree loves the Boy so much that she willingly lets him cut her down to make him happy. And no matter what he takes from her she is happy as long as he is happy. If that isn't the most pure form of love I do not know what is. So please enjoy a story that will make your heart grow two sizes after reading it.
